Doimhneacht Throw - Red

The doimhneacht throw is inspired by the dark depths of the Irish landscape, from the deep loughs to the dark nights. Against the depths of the navy base (warp) are bright flecked colors, representative of our world and the underworld, the home of the faeries.  
 
This doimhneacht handwoven throw is woven on a traditional Donegal handloom here in our studio.
Each throw is woven by hand using techniques. 
 
Where tradition meets the modern day. A blend of traditional patterns mixed with modern colours keeping originality at the core of our style but with a modern flair. 
 
Warm and durable, these throws are built to last and will survive generations if taken good care of and should be passed down through the family.
