Teachín Throw - brown 2

The teachín throw was inspired by throws you would see in traditional thatch cottages all around rural Ireland. They have a charming cozy traditional look and are a staple of any Irish home. The word 'teachín' is a Gealige word for cottage or small house.
 
This teachín handwoven throw is woven on a traditional Donegal handloom here in our studio.
Each throw is woven by hand using techniques. 
 
Where tradition meets the modern day. A blend of traditional patterns mixed with modern colours keeping originality at the core of our style but with a modern flair. 
 
Warm and durable, these throws are built to last and will survive generations if taken good care of and should be passed down through the family.
